We are interested in understanding the psychological dimension of childbirth – both from the perspective of those who have given birth themselves as well as from the perspective of those who witnessed their partners give birth.

The following survey and brief cognitive testing battery may take up to 25 minutes to complete. Before you begin, please read the Participant Information Sheet.

You can refuse to take part and can withdraw from the project at any time (until 31.12.2025), without having to give a reason, at any point. Your personal information will be processed for the purposes explained in the information sheet and will be handled under the terms of UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your information may be subject to review by responsible individuals from the College for monitoring and audit purposes. Confidentiality and anonymity will be maintained, and it will not be possible to identify you in any research outputs. By clicking [I agree] you also consent for the research team to archive your anonymous data for future research projects in an open source repository upon study completion. By clicking [I agree] you consent for the information you submit to be linked to your previous responses to the Great British Intelligence Test for the purpose of data analysis and to be published as a report.
